my sizes are medium, large, and XL depending on how big they are made...

That's common.Even when u buy dresses or shoes.Some will have sizes for countries like Europe,UK,US,Indonesia, etc. For instance,if i buy clothes made in Korea or Japan, the sizes are petite and they suit me well.but when i try to get clothes from UK or Europe or US, i had to pick size 6 or extra-extra small that is if available...
Usually if i like a t-shirt,but it's big,i would just alter it.

my shirts are pretty consitent sm or med but i understand what ur feeling, my pant size is different depending on which store i shop at and which brand i buy

no i vary all the time. sometimes im a small, sometimes a medium depending on what it is and where its from.

I think it just depends on the store brand/name...I range like that too. you're not alone.
