usually when the piercing closes it's because you haven't worn an earring for a long time. so if you don't want it to close, then either get some earrings that you can wear permanently (sleep with them and take a bath with them) or if you want to change your earrings once in a while, then change them every day but don't keep the ear without an earring for a long time or the piercing will close again ~good luck~

Keep your stud in for a year. Its a long time but its worth it. If you are going out some where fancy and want to wear different earings than you may take your studs out for that night and wear the other earings but make sure to put your studs back in right away. Keep truning your studs in circles while wearing them.

Dont take the ear ring out for 3 months, and when you do, only leave it out for no more than 3 hours, and after a year has passed, dont do so for more than 24 hours.

The piercer usually tells you to keep it in for a minimal amount of time. keep it in during that time and if you can't...get plugs like if you're playing sports or something. Just keep something in there...
