I had a birthday on the eighteenth of November, so I really need ideas for what to put on my wish list. I'm drained from my birthday. (I'm eleven)

I need strategies? Y'all are giving me the same, typical answers. My parents would never buy me an IPOD, MP3, or cellphone. (Waaaa.)

Well yeah i was going to post the typical Ipod, cell phone answers but I saw you couldnt have that so... maybe clothes . Clothes are always fun so when you go back to school you will be in style. Maybe some movies or DVDs . Or maybe just ask for money .

Ask for a small, interest-free loan (maybe a thousand), to be paid back at the end of 5 years, for you to start investing in no-load mutual funds. I think this is a great way to start leaning about investments. By the time you graduate from college, you may have enough investing experience to consistently add 10-20% to your regular income.

If your parents won't buy you a ipod or things of that nature, what about clothes or redecorating your room? Teen Pottery Barn has cool things. My daughter just had her birthday and she wanted her room redone. She had fun doing it. We clearance shopped to get the most for our money. She loves to show off her new room now to her friends and we only spent about $350 dollars. The most money was spent of bedding from PB teen. You can find cheaper!!

I got my daughter a subscription to "M" magazine, she loves it. Go on someplace like toysrus.com and make a wish list.
