Do yourself a HUGE favor. Don't sign ANYTHING without having an attorney review it for you. If you don't have much money like most of us, look into Pre-Paid Legal. It's around $20-25 per month, and the attorneys are top-notch and they will review it for you for no extra fee. It may the best money you've ever spent, especially if it keeps you from getting screwed! Anyway, I would be suspicious of any "producer" wanting you to sign a contract. You generally sign with a label, and then you determine, along with the label, who will produce your record.

Good luck. Having said THAT, unless you know someone in the biz that has one they can give you , you'd be out of luck. I don't see a need for having one though, unless you're just curious how a deal is written , but there aren't any "generic" forms for that, no 2 people EVER got the same deal....ever. Fear not though , when you ever get in a position of needing a producer , THEY will have a copy for you...
