I believe a woman president would tend to be more diplomatic than a man. We just don't have as high of an aggressor instinct, although we can certainly be protective. A disadvantage might be that other countries could see it as a weakness?

I see no advantage/disadvantage when it comes to race.

It's hard to make generalizations though. Does gender or race really make a big difference in Senators/other politicians? Not really.

The biggest factor is party politics, not their gender/race.

The only possible disadvantage that I could see, if the woman remains strongly feminine,, is that certain majorly patriarchal cultures might have the secret feeling, in interacting with the US, that we are 'weak' in their terms.

The other danger is that the woman becomes a woman-shaped copy of a man, see Condi Rice for an example.

>No particular advantage or disadvantage...as long as there is a good (and) logical brain inside the head it makes no difference.

Skin color or number of X chromosomes has no bearing on being competent (or otherwise).<

Some things, unkown, will be different, but by and large they are soooo WASP oriented that nothing fantastic will occur.

Women and Men are different. That is obvious.

Men think in MORTAR and PESTILE.

Women have to SHED that concept and find themsevles to be a true person. Women are centuries away from doing that.

Well, we don't want a woman as long as Clinton is alive. Having a black man as president wouldn't be a bad thing. Mr. O has a good chance of running against Clinton.
