It is possible to develop a sudden sensitivity to a drug that you have been taking. Hydrocone is a rather powerful narcotic, and you could have become allergic to it. You might see if there is something else you could take instead, like maybe Percocet might be a good substitute. Then you could see if it is the drug causing it.

I can't take morphine because it makes me insanely itchy!!!

I'd guess the hormones you were taking. I don't know how long the medications actually take to get out of your system but it sound like the hormones or the anesthesia you were give. When I was pregnant with twins i itched all over and there was no rash or bumps or any skin condition, I just itched everywhere. My obgyn at Dartmouth Hosp(NH) told me it was from extra hormones in my body and he gave me a prescription for a pill that I took one daily for the duration of my pregnancy. One I delivered it stopped in about 2-3 days. Us poor women!

My doctor is a specialist in hormone therapy. He told me to buy some Gordon's Cod Liver Oil for such symptions, as well as dryness, etc.

Unbelievable remedy!

Are you by any chance still taking pain meds? Some of them have that side effect. I can't take codeine for that reason - the itching drives me NUTZ.

I think you should go and see your Dr. It just might be a infection.
