If I get my earlobes pierced at the mall will I have to get a stud? or can I get a regular earring?

Well then if I get it done at a tattoo place and they use a needle, will I still have to get a stud? I want to know just because Im not a fan of the look of studs in the ear

DO NOT get your ears pierced at the mall if you can avoid it. using a needle is safer and cleaner than a piercing gun. and the 'solution' they give you to clean the piercing can make the healing slower. go to a tattoo/piercing shop with professionals and not someone in the mall.
a ring is better because you can clean it much better but the only thing they can put in the piercing guns is a piercing stud.

Plus, they never clean the gun. Do u know how many other people had their ears pierced with that gun, it make you want to puke.
