Went into a photo op at a classroom after hearing a plane had hit the WTC, Staying there after learning about the second plane, & staying at the school to give a previously scheduled news conference before climbing aboard Air Force One.
His actions that day, & those of his Secret Service Detail Chief, were a terrible breach of security. Thinking people are still wondering why normal protocol was not followed. Kinda makes me think he knew beforehand what was happening. If that is true, drawing attention to it by not following normal protocol.
Got about 50 more. Wanna hear them, or have I said too much already?

I must disagree with you about his role in starting the Iraq war "not being stupid", but I think that I have a better one. How about his running for President in 2000, and running again in 2004? I am no fan of Al ("Global warming") Gore and the Democrats but I am sure that even the GOP had candidates to offer with sufficient brainpower and experience so that their Presidency (if they won) would not have been a total disaster.
A very stupid thing that Bush did was enter the race for President in 1999--- and that was years before the Iraq mess! The next most stupid thing was to run for his reelection in 2004.
I hope this answers your question. God Bless and Happy Holidays!

Hey Reba K! Apparenlty, you're somewhat confused. The new Secretary of Defense is Robert Gates, not Bill Gates. Bill Gates, as most people know, is the creator of Windows and the CEO of Microsoft. You don't even know the guys name and yet you feel qualified to criticize him. Hmmm...perhaps you should stick to something you know. Which, incidentally, appears to be nothing.

Bush vastly exaggerates al-Qaeda's size, sweep and importance, while failing to invest in genuine counterterrorist measures such as port security or security for US nuclear plants.
Bush could have eradicated the core al-Qaeda group by putting resources into the effort in 2002. He did not, leaving al-Zawahiri and Bin Laden to taunt us, inspire our enemies and organize for years after the Taliban were defeated.
Bush gutted the US constitution, tossing out the Fourth Amendment, by assiduously spying on Americans without warrants.
Bush attempted to associate the threat from al-Qaeda with Iran and Syria. Iran is a fundamentalist Shiite country that hates al-Qaeda.
Bush diverted at least one trillion dollars in US security spending from the counter-terrorism struggle against al-Qaeda to the Iraq debacle.
Counterterrorism requires friendly allies and close cooperation. The Bush administration alienated France, Germany and Spain, along with many Middle Eastern nations that had long waged struggles of their own against terrorist groups.
Bush transported detainees to torture sites in Eastern Europe.
Bush's failrf to capture Bin Laden allowing him to continue to grandstand, to continue to frighten the public, to continue to affect financial markets, and to continue to plot.
That enough, or do you need more?

He ran his campaign in 04 based on SS reform had a GOP majority in both houses spent months crisscrossing the country trying to convince people with everything he had he STILL couldnt get it done and just gave up is that stupid or just lazy?

First off I am in fact a Bush supporter. But I'll admit he's made his mistakes.
No Child Left Behind Act... face it, it's not working.
Is trying to get rid of the goverment funded program ETS (Education Talent Search). ETS's purpose is to take children from poor income homes where neither parent went to college, and motivate them to recieve a college education and helps them get into and pay for college.
He's trying to get a bill signed that lets the government wiretrap peoples phonecalls, and that the goverment can overstep our privacy without a warrent.

He's causing holy hell now by getting Congress to approve his new secretary of defense who's scary. -- he's called "The Gates of Hell". Years ago, Bill Gates was nearly indicted on the Iran Contra affair for lying to Congress for skewing intelligence. He actually negotiated to keep American hostages as prisoners during the iran hostage affair. He illegally advocated bombing the Nicaruagan ports.
He is a war hawk who is expected to send more troops to Iraq. which is guaranteed to escalate the battles and lead America to further wars.
Your daddy is not Bush.
