Koreans too. All asians actually.
Also, China is such a HUGE country, do Chinese people that come from different parts of China have distinct characteristics as well?

Japanese are usually fuller figured more comparable in size to Americans but still smaller than us. Vietnamese have wider noses and are more small framed than the others. Chinese are taller and small to average weight. I can usually tell them all apart. Koreans are tanner.

A lot of the time I can with Japanese and Chinese being the easier ones. Sometimes I mix up Vietnamese and Korean people though. I couldn't tell you how I know. I'd have to see the person but I usually guess correctly.

yea.
the chinese tend to be a little shorter and have eyes that dont really go in, and slant upward. vietnamese have flatter noses.
japanese have eyes that are not quite slanted, but deeply set into the face. theri skin is a bit more orange, and the head shape is a little boxier

Sometimes you can but not always. You have to be very familiar with their distinct cultures.

Well maybe if you put them under a microscope. But from looking at them, even if you get really close you cant tell.

Yes they are different and you can tell by looking at their face.
Im vietnamese and i've seen lots of asian people. so i get use to it.
