matter what im there for. One time i hurt my hand at work and he wanted me to sit on the table and i said its my hand. but what he usually does is you lay on the table and he checks your ankles for swelling and then your stomach then he checks your boobs and then he listens to your heart or lungs in the back. I see no reason for this and its been bothering me lately because there is no nurse in there with you i mean you have your clothes on but he still does that is this standard routine for regular intern doctors.

Definitely not normal. Not only change Dr. but I would be reporting this one. If he is doing this to you, no telling what he is doing to other patients, if everyone just goes to someone else and says nothing, he will just continue with his unethical behavior. Most Dr. always have a nurse present for any type of physical exam, if they value their license.

No it's not, what the heck? If he were even doing a breast exam it's once a year unless there is a problem~sounds like he just wants a jolly. The stomach and ankle swelling and listening heart and lungs are normal, boob feels are not. I would find another doctor, you didn't say how old you are, if you are an adult, get another doctor and consider telling him off. If you are under 18 tell your parents.

I'd aether get a different Dr. I also would say something because he isn't suppose to do that unless there is a nurse in the room or if you say it's OK.I'm not sure how old you are but I'd tell him that he has no right to touch you if it's not a fiscal your having done. Once to twice a year should be enough and that depends on your family's history or yours.

tell the doctor you do not feel comfortable and demand a reason why he is doing it. From now on, make sure a female is in the room. A GYNO is the only person who should do that and is supposed to have a nurse in the same room. This is serious and sexual harassment. If it continues file a law suit and get his liscense removed.

The technical term for this is the "TUBEs" or Totally Unnecessary Breast Examinations.

If you write a letter to the person(s) coordinating the clinic and employing your primary doctor I think you will find that you will be offered an apology and a new (and hopefully better) doctor.

Try not to get the one that examines your vagina every visit :-)
