You as in the rest of the world besides you? Because its quite offensive really, how you've phrased that question. You being alive is damaging the earth, because you eat food and have a computer and hopefeully some clothes.
People aren't ignoring the environment, like a messy room. Those who apparantly "ignore" the environment just dont understnad it enough to care. start from the bottom and work up. education and tax raises are the easiest ways.

It's not our problem, let the future generations sort it out. The same way as racism is mostly previous generations work and we're sorting that out now. I go sleep now.
