Hi, I'm an Asian girl and I just moved to MN, USA 5 months ago.
My high school started on Sep. 4 .
I made several friends, but I really want to make Cool friends( who are popular and pretty(handsome kk). ~
I am not that outgoing person and not good at English,
SO, 1> I wanna know what makes them laugh (like jokes) and 2> what kind of gossips do they have usually.
Plus, 3> If an asian girl is in your class, then what do you guys think?
and 4>what kind of person do American friends like??( like they care
about clothing and appearance? and,,,?? ))

1) people, most americans like to laugh at other people and what they wear and stuff, but since you are knew you should probaly avoid that, watch some popular american shows so you can be in the know, and start conversations some popular shows are americas next top modelchannel 7, maury, and thats so raven channel 38
2)teens gossip about other teens and what they do and other peoples secrets, try to avoid that no matter how long you've been here
3)the guys in my school think asians are pretty and have beautiful hair, which is a good thing
4)honest, trustworthy, funny, and loyal
try and dress your best and wear nice shoes, trust me us teens look at everything especially us 9th graders
dont mess up in school, most people wont let you forget it

OK...I'm currently in college and I totally remember what it was like to be in high school. I'm sure that it is much different here than it was where you're from but honestly the "popular and pretty" people are probably not the friends you really want. Just be yourself and the friends that will make you the happiest will find you. It will all just happen like it was meant to happen. My father was in the air force so I moved every 3 to 4 years so I know what it's like to be in a new place and have to make new friends. Don't stress about it just be yourself.

If you are on the cheap of lower than 50 greenbacks for a get dressed, pass to Kohls. It has a significant juniors division, and nice for inexpensive. Abercrombie... No. H&M... Ewww.. Jcpenny: YESS. Actually, it would possibly not appear so, however the general ladies use Abercrombie ironons on steady hoodies. #cheaplittletip

hmm well at 14 you shouldn't try to hard to be impressionable however. I will help out with what I know.
Guys in general, like it when peopel find out what they are interesed in, so when they talk tot he girl she nows what we are talking about.
english will come and go, much of your generation isnt good with english either to be honest.
The best way to be popular is to be a leader.

It's kids like you that the Dateline NBC people are always showing. Don't be so outgoing.
There are bad people here. Granted, there are Americans on this site, but I can guarantee you that most are NOT cool.
