Powerpoint doesn't have a product key itself. It's part of Microsoft Office and the key went with Office.

The only way to get your key is to contact Microsoft.

Any other way is illegal.

If it came with your computer, it may have been only a trial edition (Dell, HP Compaq do this). If it was the full version, check the documentation that came with the computer. It should have the product key there.

If you only need to view a powerpoint (not make one) you can get the powerpoint viewer:

Otherwise, you can try using OpenOffice (it may not work as well as Microsoft Office, make sure to save as a ppt file) The program for making slideshows is called Impress.
