People need to leave me alone when it comes to pokemon, they say i'm too old to be watching it and they make fun of me......
Pokemon is a perfectly valid anime, its just the dubbers that made it so stupid, they completely change the story......... AND ALL THOSE STUPID PUNS THAT THEY ADD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS ENOUGH TO DRIVE ME CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and removing all reference to japanese culture..........

Don't blame your friends. They've just been brainwashed by the watered-down by-product of overprotective and xenophobic dubbers. We all should all blame 4Kids. What the devil is wrong with showing a rice ball in a Pokemon episode? They replaced it with a SANDWICH! Honestly, such a waste of animation. I think American kids could stand to learn a little more about other cultures. Then maybe Americans wouldn't keep thinking that immigrants are "stealing" their jobs. By the way, you're never too old for cartoons, especially anime. I liked Pokemon even before it was cool and I still like it to this day.

I say you should watch it until the tapes, discs, and whatever other media it's recorded on wears out!
And then go get some more!!
I have had people give me weird looks when I tell them I watch cartoons. They tell me that since I don't have children, there's no need for me to watch them.
Fie on them. Fie and a pox on them. I'll watch cartoons, and read comic books, and eat Frosted Flakes whenever I darn well please. It makes Me happy.
So you go ahead and watch whatever you want too. It's everyone else who's missing out.

Yes, I can totally understand.
4Kids does heavily edit the series, but yeah, I know where you're coming from. Don't worry about other people and what they think.
Honestly, they shouldn't even give a **** if you watch Pokemon.
Everyone still watches cartoons, so really, it can be in good or bad taste. ^^ Just forget them, okay?

People always think they are right and their perspective rules... just ignore them. People are like animals. Always fighting to rule to push their point of view. To impose their ways on others. Ignore them. You need to make you happy. Be you. Find people that support you.
