Elton John's partner is "David Furnish", a former advertising executive who became a film maker. After 12 years long of being together, they entered into a civil partnership on 21 December 2005 ( the first day civil partnerships of gay couples was recognised in the UK) with a low-key ceremony with only their parents in attendance held at the Guildhall, Windsor, where Prince Charles married the Duchess of Cornwall in April. David Furnish was born October 26, 1962 in Toronto, Canada. They met at a Halloween party in 1993.
