I'm 14 and my knees and elbow's crack alot. During push ups or leaning up and down. I'm very health consicious and weigh 118 lbs. I have a perfect BMI. Is this normal?

My orthopedic surgeon told me that it is normal unless it is accompanied by pain. But please check with your personal physician.

It's probably fine. I have the exact same problem, but it shouldn't be a bad thing unless it hurts when everything cracks. I can't do normal sit-ups or walk up stairs without a trillion things cracking. It's most likely normal unless there is pain.

Well first of all...a 14 year old shouldn't know what a BMI is...Don't be so obsessive about your looks....Eat right..excercise every now and then and have fun!!!

It sounds pretty normal to me.

There is probably alot of air inbetween the joints.
See a doctor if you're concerned about it.

i think you're fine. if you're really worried, or it really hurts, you should talk to yourdoctor at your next visit.
