if so, how many times? What did you say or do to the officer that gave you a warning instead of a speeding ticket? What tips can you share?

and was the officer mean or nice?

I have been pulled over 5 times and got warnings. If it was a male officer I said:

"I'm on my period and I ran out of tampons and maxipads. I need to get to the store fast!"

If I was traveling with other passengers, I've said "We're trying to stop a wedding, officer! I have slept with the groom and I need to tell the bride fast before she marries him"

and last but not least girls:

Cry and make sure you shed tears. And say that you're lost and you lost your job and your man is cheating on you. And you can't find your way home. Men cannot stand tears and will let you go.

If it's a female officer good luck

And my mom is a nurse and she got pulled over and she said that she was late for work. The officer saw her name tag and he let her go.

Yes, just once. I was in high school taking some friends home from prom dress shopping, we were all in my car and we were pulled over by 2 city officers. I rolled down the windows and I was freaked and crying, but my friends in the car were trying to calm me down. My friend in the back seat wasn't paying any attention and all of a sudden she yells "holy sh*t, they are HOT!" The officer happened to be standing at my window at the time and heard the whole thing. He was trying so hard not to laugh that he let me go with just a warning.

I was pulled over once doing 120 in a 35 zone at night. The kind officer said that it would be too much paperwork and let me go with a verbal warning (he also saw the motorcycle I was following get away and my uniform hanging in the back seat) At the time I was 22, and driving a sports car with tinted widows.
The day after Thankgiving though I got pulled over in Atlanta on the freeway doing 79 in a 55 zone (sunny day, light traffic, perfect conditions) and the swine gave me the ticket and berated me about obaying the laws of his state. This time I was 35 in a Lincoln Town Car. Go figure.

If I was a male officer would give a woman a ticket if she cried. If she was honest and admitted doing wrong without the tears Maybe I would let her off.

But yes I have gotten a warning. Years ago I was speeding down the road and a cop comes up beside me and on his speaker he says "Ya'll going a little too fast." in his southern drawl. I slowed down the rest of the way home.

I was late to a wedding, I was the maid of honor. I was speeding and got pulled over. I was honest with the officer, he let me go with a warning. Sure as **** the officer showed up at the reseption. He asked me out on a date. I was flattered. A year later, the couple that got married was in my wedding to the cop.

I've gotten out of 4. I have no clue how, lucky I think. They weren't mean at all. Only one kind of gave me lip because I was speading in a construction zone that was "clearly marked" haha. Maybe it's because I'm a young girl, with an innocent face and I aplogized for being irresponsible. AND I even got out of totally getting the car towed for registration suspension because the cop who pulled me over was in a hurry on his way to another call!

I understand a few police officers and none of them have ever acquired a price tag for dashing whilst they're pulled over. A lot of it's going to have got to do with the "code" that police officers comply with to preserve their possess. I can not say all police officers get out of tickets despite the fact that. Just those I understand.

The last time I was pulled over, which was probably about 6-7 months ago, I was given just a warning. As soon as he walked up to my car, I immediately apologized for speeding, told him I know I was going too fast, etc., and he ended up telling me to just slow down and be safe, and he sent me on my way.

I got one speeding ticket. The cop was business like and acted like he was doing me a favor. He said I was doing 55 in a 35 zone, He knocked it down to 45 so I wouldn't lose so many points. He didn't care that I am a nurse and was in a hurry to get to work, either. So I worked a whole shift just to pay off that darned ticket!!!
