Hi.. My husband ended up with very dry skin while going through chemotherapy. His cancer doctor suggested Aquaphor lotion. It can be found at any pharmacy. It is a very thick lotion that helps heal severely chapped skin. If you are able to, in addition to using is as a lotion during the day, apply thickly right before bed and sleep with a soft pair of gloves on or a pair of terri cloth socks on your hands. I hope my suggestion helps. Good luck..

Hi. I have this same problem, even in the summer. I have best luck with Vaseline Intensive Care® Advanced Healing®. I've tired generic equivalents in this but only the brand name works so well. You will need to apply this several times a day. It will help - just keep using it. Good Luck!

same thing happens to my knuckles and it sucks..put some vaseline on them and put socks on your hands...then if it is bearable, wear gloves anytime it is cold if they dont irritate ur hands, especially out side.. i do that and after a few days it starts to get better...of course it reurns, but nor for a while..dont use dish washer soap if u can avoid it, that makes it worse..use the foamy stuff from bath and body works or watever..also, a more costly investment, but damn relaxing, buy a parrafin waxer thing..u can google it...u heat up wax and put ur hands in it then wait a few minutes do it again aand so on..it really soothes the skin for an extended period, it may even cure the problem..even if ur hands dont work, it is fun to do...ur skin feels like silk...it is also fun to dip random objects in it for absolutely no reason..also if ur hands are always cold like mine, it makes them warmer..i need to get another one i think my mom threw the other one out..GOOD luck..have a nice winter

You'll have to get a different lotion, one that is "intensive care"....if it continues, then I would advise you to go and see a dermatologist. I'm sure he'll recommend, or give you a skin lotion that will work. Best of luck to you............
