ZIDANE
(he and figo are good friends. one of the most enduring images of WC 2006 for me is seeing the two of them in a sporting and affectionate embrace after the france v. portugal game. that was a sad moment, like the ending of an era, but it also felt good knowing these 2 greats can still nurture a friendship amidst the intense rivalries around them)

um...
gosh, there's so many!
Dirk Kuyt : even though he's a striker, he still comes back to help with defense ; he's a hard worker and i think the Liverpool fans will love him for that.
Diego Maradonna: there's quite a dispute about who is better : Maradonna or Pele? I admire Maradonna because he took the Argentinian team, all by himself, to the top. Pele, on the other hand, was part of a great team and im taking no credit away from him, he was a great player.but Maradonna still had to work harder.
and my last one,
Michael Owen: i really admire him as a person, he's very humble and not 'flashy'. He's an awesome player, but he seems to always be injured. It was a very sad day when Liverpool lost him to Newcastle. and in those few games that he played for Newcastle he made a huge impact. He took them from the bottom of the log to the middle [ and then, unfortunately, he was injured]

For me Roberto Baggio.
He's the best footy player I ever watched and will always be. He's attitude off and on the pitch are extraordinary. Best moment I remember when he helped Italy draw Chili in the 1998 WC group phase. Baggio ball would touch a Chilean defender's hand, resulting in a penalty scored by Baggio which made the score 2-2. It's so him!!
Oh the other one when he scored amazing goal to Roma goal when he played for Inter, without even looked at the goal post. Amazing dribble and beautiful kick!

in demand: Peyton Manning - super chief and between the suitable quarterbacks of all time. Can incredibly grow to be a coach or offensive coordinator in the NFL if he desires to. Least in demand: Tom Brady - puffed up quarterback who seems extra helpful than he's with the help of the fact he continuously has super secure practices and receivers to throw to. to not point out all of his super Bowls are because of the fact his protection grow to be outstanding, yet he nevertheless gained MVP two times. If him and Manning switched places, Manning could have a minimum of three super bowl wins.

my favorite palyer of all time is Angelo Peruzzi ive watched him play while i was growing up with juve, he hasnt had the chance to be the number one for the italian team due to unfortunate injury's at key times but he still is going day in and day out to play and proving to the world that he is still one of the most elite goalkeepers to ever live. hes up there with the likes of schmieckal, buffon, and yashin. if he was more famous and wasnt injured in 1994 pre-world cup, 1998 pre-world cup, he would have gone down as one of the best ever. he is more skilled than he is athletic and as humble as a person can get and great person to speak with.
