Help!! I am really pissed. I did fine on defence but only scored 8 points. I also had 3 stupid fouls!!!! Grrrr I'm mad. I'm an 8th grade girl.

8 points isn't bad, it's higher than most players' average, and 3 fouls is just being agressive. Consider that a good thing. If you want more points maybe you should look at tape, see what you can improve. Perhaps drive more, take more shots if they're open. Also, if you're missing a lot of shots or want to increase your percentage, do 50 form shots before your game (stand still shots with one arm 2-4 feet from the basket). It really helps your follow through.

You shouldnt get mad over 8 points. Talk to some of the kids that sat on the bench the whole game. I'm sure they would kill to have a game where they scored 8 points.

8 points is great. I never made any points. You are young. Just keep practicing and don't be so hard of yourself. It's all about team work. You don't have to make alot of points to be effective.

Talk to someone who doesnt get to play sports because of a physical handicap or because they are too short but wishes they could. In other words put things in perspective.

Let it go. Its not all about you. You should care if your team wins or not. If you won then it doesn't matter. If you hold on to it, this may effect your performance in your next game.
