The strings you need are Ernie Ball 'Not Even Slinky' They are 12 -56 guage and are made for detuning. Please make sure your guitar is set up for detuning. You can google how to set up a floyd rose and I think there are some vids on youtube. If you have a non tremolo guitar you are in good shape. If not it takes a while to get your trem set up properly. Like at least 2 hours and that's if you know what you are doing. You may even need to buy some more springs depending on your guitar. Or you can do what I did and buy a baritone guitar.

I put D'Addario XL130s on my electrics and Dean Markley phosphorous bronze on my acoustics as original equipment, and use them on all of my personal guitars as well.

I'll let you in on a little industry secret. Most string companies buy their strings from a couple of different manufacturers, so most of the time you're just paying for the packaging. The strings come from the same couple of places. There are several different styles of strings, with various "treatments" like cryogenically frozen, or whatever, but it's the manufacturer, not the string company that does this. My advice is find a type you like and stick with it, and don't pay for the hype.

D'addario are really nice but I wouldn't use them instead ide use Ernie ball or elixer or cleartone (that just me).
