Reading the fantasy blog, you see people talking crazy about starting Tony Romo and Reggie Bush over proven players that aren't just a flash in the pan. Reggie Bush is overrated as a runner perhaps, but he is second in the league in receptions. This for a guys who is splitting time in the backfield with Deuce McCallister. He has also returned 22 punts for a 9 yard average and is one of only 9 players with a punt return touchdown. He also has 4 rushing TD's even if his 3.1 yards per carry average is less than stellar. So with 6 total TD's from a rookie who is the 2nd string running back I find it hard to say he is overrated. A lot of people want to jump on the bandwagon and put him in the hall of fame after one good game, but that is nothing new.
Meanwhile Tony Romo leads the league in passer rating and has thrown 13 TD's in twelve games. The big thing for both of these guys is that their teams are winning. While that is no surprise for a talented Dallas team that was picked by a lot of people to contend for the Super Bowl this season, it is surprising from an upstart Saints team who was expected to do little more than play .500 football and finish third in their division behind Atlanta and Carolina. I could go on all night finding pros and cons for these two players. But truthfully I find neither to really be overrated. I just think that the fans are excited to see some talented young players emerge after a relatively superstar free rookie class last season. But if one has to be overrated I will take Reggie Bush only slightly over Romo.

Other running backs with 4 rushing TDs:
Ahman Green
Laurence Maroney
Willis McGahee
Fred Taylor
Dominic Rhodes
Rueben Droughns
All have at least 30 more carries than Bush

Reggie Bush is more overrated. The only reason why people hold Bush in high regard is because of what he has done in USC. However, as a Saint, he hasnt done what a HB is supposed to do, run the ball well. Reggie only had 2 touchdowns before Sundays game. Even so, he has a grand total of 6 so far. He just isnt consistent enough, hes only played well in like 2 games out of 12. Tony Romo has more credibility for him. Hes played well in all his starts but the on at the giants. So what if he threw 2 int and no Tds. He led the team to a W and that what counts. His last play throwing to Witten was the sign that he has what it takes to be a consistent starter for a long time.

come on guys Romo is way more overrated than Reggie Bush. Romo can only get soo lucky. He'll shut it down soon you'll see. They got no chance in the first round of the playoff.
Reggie bush just needed the time to warm up. He's a rookie and he'll get better over the off season.

I think Reggie Bush is more overrated. Bush only had a good game because of the 49ers' defense (not that good). Even though Romo had 2 interceptions and no touchdowns, he's better. He led them to the game winning field goal. So I'm thinking that Romo is definitely not overrated.

P.S. - I'm not a Cowboy fan lol.

Reggie Bush....he was overrated in college too...... he isnt consistant while Romo is and if you're not consistant then your coach isnt sure to play you or to bench you which hurts the team
