It varies by station and by size of the box. I pay $65 for the smallest box at my local branch post office. I paid $12 per year at a small town P.O. in New Mexico a couple of years ago.

And then of course there are private mailboxes. Once again, the cost varies by locale and size.

You can call the closest branch office and just ask - and also determine if they even have any boxes for rent.
