Sometimes my best friends 19 yr old brother is really nice and wants to watch movies/do something else, and then other times he acts like he wants us to leave, but when we say we are leaving, he makes up some excuse why we are not allowed to leave like:
“Dad wont let you”
“Its going to snow, you aren’t going anywhere”
“No you’re not”
So what is his deal?
By the way we are 17.
Also, sometimes he'll say hi to me, other times, he will ignore me. ?!

Just ignore him. Tell him you outgrew babysitters.

Kate...I think u have a crush on him. Why do you care what he thinks or says? Regardless of ur feelings - guys act like that because they are looking for attention. He's trying 2 get ur attention for some reason. Maybe he has an interest 2?

oh yeah he has a crush on you hard core he wants you he wants you to watch movies cuz that is just more intimate and he wont let you leave cuz he wants you there i say if you like him then i try to hook up with him its only a 2 year diffrence so you have a chance if you do if you dont just act anoyd

I'm pretty sure a 19 year old has no say in what 17 year olds do...that sounds a little ridiculous.

He either has a crush on you (probably) or really likes hanging out but wants to appear cool and not show that he enjoys your company.
