n x (10 x 7) = (8 x 10) + (8 x 7)
i know the answer. and i'll give you a hint, it is not 5.

you get the answer by doing this in steps:
1. 10+7=17
2. 8x10=80
3. 8x7=56
4. 80+76=136
5. 136 divided by 17=8
so, n=8.
this is actually a fairly easy problem. it might seem hard, but if you are in highschool you shoulb be able to get this veeeeeeery easily.

uhhm. honey. sorry to say it but either you typed wrong...or you're wrong.
n x (10 x 7)=(8x10) + (8x7)
n x (70) = (80) + (56)
70n = 136
n = 1.94
maybe you really meant to write
n x (10 + 7) etc...
