Although I've watched both... my pick would still be Friends, hands down.
Probably because it's more contemporary (show was aired between 1994-2004) compared to Three's Co. (1977-1984).
They've funny plot lines & characters, etc, that's just my opinion anyway.
I think it depends largely on which show appeals to you most & which year you were born in when the show aired.

I like both... grew up watching 3s Company.
I'd have to give the "better" nod to Friends. Friends kept it's core cast intact throughout the run... Company lost some of it's flavor after Chrissy and the Ropers left.

I have to say Three's Company. I am a fan of Friends but John Ritter was the best.
