Still do that. Along with other things not enough ppl do now days. My family and I went out to eat at Chinatown tonight. These three adults brought four children into the restaurant. The adults in one booth and the kids in the next. After they left I noticed a HUGE mess that the kids had left, and their parents didn't even apologize or offer to clean it up. I am always appalled at what some parents let their children get away with.

Yes, I do. It used to be all 7 of us, every night, and each of us in his or her own place. It was a ritual to set the table, pour everyone's milk (water for Mom) and talk during dinner, and then we took turns washing drying, and putting away the dishes.
Ah, good times, good times.
Now, it's usually just hubby and me, sometimes at the dining room table, sometimes in the front room, but on weekends that I'm home, I try to make enough for all five of us and we sit around the table and talk. It's just really rare. Thanks for the great question.

Yes, growing up we ate at the dinner table and talked about the day. Now, you are either eating standing up or at the T.V. It is just an example of the whole family thing is out of whack. sad.

We still sit down for a meal almost every night,
away from the T.V. We even say Grace.
Tradition is important, and nice!

I remember that....the last time for me was about twelve years ago. Not that my little family and I don't eat together, because we do, but it's different being the parent at the table than it is being the kid. I miss being the kid at the table sometimes.

My family sits at the table and talks. No tv on, no radio on, no distractions. Just us talking.

Yes, I do remember, only one TV set in the house, no more, no need for more.
