If you have to ask that, you have already chosen 'career'.

NO MATTER when the time comes, you should always choose your family over your career. The family was a part of you before you began the career and should be with you after the career is completed, Lord Willing! You are who you are because of the many choices that you have made, the places that you have been, and the people that have been around you. The family has been a big part of making you "WHO YOU ARE". The career choice will become a large part of your life and hopefully you will profit and be shaped by it but it will NEVER replace or become "YOUR FAMILY"! A big part of the holiday that is upon us is about being with family. Have a great holiday by spending that time with your family.

That depends. Are these wife and children family? If so, they are first in that you chose them didn't you , or you would be single and not have the family? But, if possible try to do both and take care of the family and try to make the best of what you have left. Ask your family for emotional support and ask them to help you. You must also realize they have needs, wants and dreams also. So, that is a hard one. Need more details to be more detailed in my answer but, dreams aren't always the thing we get, even if we sacrafice everyone and everything we still may not have our dreams. Are you willing to give it all up for that? Your decision in the long run. Just have to live with it when it;'s all said and done.

never jump into conclusions basing on opinion of others in life

if u think so u are a big fool ultimately

u now WHY??????

no life is full without family, occupation , friends, etc

if u have a wounder full profession by leaving family, it is like a half filled glass and vice-versa

i dont know why u want to choose only one, but it is not good
convince them that both made the life.
if they love u , they respect n understand what u r saying

if not time will decide the matter

be patient, hold ur emotions n wait for god blessings

good luck

It depends on what you mean by Family! Your family will be your family for the rest of your life but your career is only what you would prefer to do for the rest of your life! None the less your family should be understanding and sympathetic to your ambitions but if they are in need, then that need should help you decide which is more important!

It would be unacceptable having a family that didn't support my needs as well! if my needs were to work then respect of my decisions should be supported by my family! Please keep in mind my family has no kids! If i did then I would start my own at home buisness with my special skills in the arts and design.
But if it were my choice as in life or death a Family loves you back not any job or career they don't even have emotions!!
So over all i pick FAMILY!

We live in a capitalist country. Sure, we'd all love to spend a lot of time with our family, but is it possible? Ultimately, our instincts lead us to survive and give the best opportunity for our young, which means, in our time, moeny. Money is power, it can help protect us, help feed us and give our children the best education. In the early days of a career, you really have to consider exactly how much money you need.

Family always comes first. Jobs come and go but your family is your family forever. Besides if you have kids think of the thing you like most about your job now think of all the sweet and wonderful things your kids say to you everyday without a blink of an eye. I would not give up any of the little things my kids do to make me realize the mirace God gave me, for any job.

it depends on how much importance you give to your family and your-self.if it is you who comes first i.e. your interest matter's most to you most than i think you should choose your carrier.
the reason i am saying this is because if you choose your family and if your whole heart and mind is in your carrier i don't think you will be able to do any justice to your relation-ship with your family and in the same way if your heart is in your family and you choose your carrier over family than too you won't be able to give your carrier the best shot.
so, ask your own-self first what is that really matter's to you .life is a give and take relation-ship lose some to win some.....

It depends on how old your kids are. If they are adults and can take care of themselves, focus on career.

If your family is young, do not, by any means, waste your time on other things. Those moments with the beginning of your family can be the the most precious moments of your life and your time to experience it is running short. They will grow up very quickly and that's it...no turning back. Always remember that you are lucky to have them.

are you seriously asking that? is the family already present? i'm hoping no. if you have kids they should always be your number one priority no matter what kind of career you have. your family is the most important thing in your life not some stupid job you could lose tomorrow.
