I have a friend who is in to drinking and I am not. She asked me to take her to her house to drop “something, I don’t remember what it is” off at her house. It ended up being 40 dollars worth of mikes hard, and an assortment of beer. She’s 16 by the way. Once I found out what it was I said no, because my car didn’t have a trunk, and that is illegal to drive with alcohol in the car, since I’m only 17.
Then I asked her why she lied and she said she didn’t, except she did. And I don’t get it. I wouldn’t be mad at her. I dont get angry at things like that and she knows it.
Why doesnt she trust me?

She might have a drinking problem. They usually start out when teenagers are younger and evolve into something much worse, such as becoming an alcoholic. It's not that she doesn't trust you, it seems that shes just being a little selfish about the subject because she wants to have "a good time" drinking and she knew you would say no if you knew it was alcohol. You should get her help or try to talk to her about stopping the drinking. Good luck to you. It may be time to find new friends.

Because of your age,it wouldn't matter where the alcohol was in the car. With both of you under the legal age to posses alcohol, you would both be in jail.
If you had been stopped by the police and your car searched, you would be in more trouble because as the driver, you are responsible for your passengers and their actions.
Since you are aware your friend likes to drink and you haven't told anyone,it doesn't sound like she doesn't trust you and as a friend, you should try to convince her to get help.

Babe, there could be any number of reasons for this. Part of it could be that she knows you disaprove, and she doesn't want you to think less of her (which is what I'm guessing the case is here). And seriously, I once had a friend who would lie to me for no absolute reason. It sounds like a fake answer, but there are people out there like that. Either could be the case. I've experienced both. Either way, she sounds like a friend you could do without.

Baby, don't worry about it ,you did the right thing, and she will get over it. Always do what you know in you're heart is right even if it goes against the grain or what your friends think is cool, you will be a better person for it and you can always hold your head up knowing you did the right thing, hell it might even save her life one day.

She doesnt trust you because she has a problem. If she is willing to sacrifice your car, your future, and any scholarship you might get by getting you on probation or sent to juvenile, then why would she not lie to you? She is too involved with her addiction to care about the welfare of herself or others. Wash your hands of her, before you get arrested and she says it is your beer.

Maybe she doesn't want her parents to find out she drinks and was afraid you might tell them.

What part is she not trusting you about? Your question makes no sense. Sorry, but you need to clear that up first. Is it that you don't trust her?
