I know very little about watches. A friend recently told me about Zenith. Curious how they compare to a Rolex.

Thanks All.

I've been selling watches for nearly 17 years now and both these brands for 12 years.

It seems to me that, as most people only really get to see Rolex in the High Street, they deem this brand to be the best. Now they are good, don't get me wrong, but there are better.

Zenith is just one of those better ones. Besides about 40 years more experience Zenith have always manufactured all of their own movements, cases, etc since 1865. Rolex have only been able to claim this in the last 5 years. For over 2 decades prior to this Rolex actually bought Zenith movements to fit in their Daytona models, simply because they are the best for this type.

Now, get your 2 choices together and to be honest, there is no competition. The Baby Star is such a more feminine style of watch. The Rolex is actually quite masculine as a range. The fact that Rolex is in most High Streets also makes Zenith that more exclusive. I don't know about you, but I'd rather travel my own path than follow the rest of the sheep.

Rolex is just a little bit tacky, these days anyone can buy a gorgeous fake. The Zenith is a lesser seen watch and just a bit more feminine and just an allround cuter watch.
