If they're not teens, I say 1 hour is plenty. Teens, maybe 1 or 2 hours. Adults, how ever long they want.

It depends on which age your child is at, the younger they are the less time they should be playing. It also depends on what games, are they violent or adventure, or educational. Games can help your hand eye coordination, and stimulate certain areas of the brain.I say an hour or 2 a day, after homework is done, teens usually play longer 2+ hrs a day, especially online with friends. Video games are not "bad" for you child it is only when the games are taking over your childs day to day activities/ life, then it becomes a problem.

For at least a hour maybe a hour and a half would be good. Video Games can be pretty good and some people learn things they haven't before. It is also a good learning experience. Just not too much!

If I were a child, I'd want to make sure I got in at least 12-14 hours on the weekend, and 4 hours weekdays. How else would I make it on the competitive circuit and make the big bucks?
2-3 hours in my opinion is enough, IF the homework is done. I'm a gamer, though.

0 minutes. Children should not play video games. Take them to the park or something. Video games make children look sickly after many hours of playing the video games.

about 1 hour or less because after a while if a child stares at a video game for 1 hour straight it can be very bad for their eyes.
