My best friend recently had her boyfriend tell her that he loved her. I believe that you can fall in love at 13 but I wanted other peoples prespecitve on it.

Firstly, the word you`re actually looking for is "perspective" and not "prespecitve" as you put it so irreverently and so unceremoniously darling! Do you go to school on a regular basis or are you one of those "students" who play truant every single day?!?
Secondly, to answer your initial query, yes you can easily fall in love in your early teenage years, sometimes even younger, it has been known to happen on occasion, believe it or not! That being said, it does not mean that there needs to be any kind of sexual contact to classify it as "love" or "being in love" or falling in love", are you following me with this?
In my own opinion, I honestly believe that the most innocent of love is often the purest, i.e., when sexual intercourse is literally taken out of the equation.
That is the difference between "pure & innocent love" and "sexual love". Not to be confused with "lust" or "infatuation" or a "simple teenage crush"!
As far as I am concerned, once you`ve experienced "true love" in your childhood or early teens, everything else that comes later on in your life is purely and utterly a variation on the same theme...

Personally, I'm 15 and not much older than her, and I personally dont believe you can fall in love at 13 because the 15 year olds I go to school with tell each other they love each other the 1st month and the next they're broken up, saying they hate each other, and saying horrible things about the other, or saying the stupidest reasons for breaking up with the other. I never really see it happen so I dont believe you can.
Also, at 15, and least 13, you cant fall in love because your mind isn't mature enough to understand what TRUELY romanticly loving someone is. Love needs to grow like someone above me said, and its true.

In some cases yes, but in most cases NO. If you lived in like the 1500s then probably yes because they married at young ages. This was common. But I think that until we get older we usually don't understand the true meaning of love. Others NEVER find out what it is even when they're older. In Romeo and Juliet, they weren't really in love. Romeo tended to "fall" for pretty girls and when he saw another that was more beautiful than the last, he dropped the previous girl and went with the one that was the most beautiful. When he saw Juliet she was more beautiful than Rosaline so he went with her. If he would have saw someone even more beautiful than Juliet(if they would have lived) he would probably have kicked her to the curb and went with another.......so....this example(if were used) would be a bad one to say IF ANYONE WAS GONNA USE IT about little kids falling in love. Well I know that I got a little off but the first part should have answered your question lol :)

I feel you can fall in love at any age but being so young and falling in love is sometime not a wise thing to do because I feel you have a lot heartbreaks to go through in life. By the time you finally meet that special someone you might have a whole different outlook on falling in love with anyone.

Yeah u can fall in love at the age of 13 bcuz i have been dating this one boy for 6 goin on 7 years and i realized that i was in love wit him at the age of 13 so yeah it is possible to fall in love at 13!!!

YES, you can definitely fall in love at ANY age. love does not pick people by age. I'm in 13, and in 8th, and i am definitely in love. my boyfriend and i have known each other for 3 years, and we have been recently going out this year for two months and still going strong. i love him so much, i would do anything for him. everything about him is perfect. he's so sweet and nice and every time i see him i fall in love with him all over again. i guess it just depends on fate, if two people are ment to be togather, they will be, and this can start at 13 or even younger! for example my friends parents met in 2nd grade, started dating in 5th grade and are now happily married!! this is proof that love can strike at any age, 13 is not too young. your friend might be experiencing young love, and who knows, maybe soon you will too.

Love is a funny thing. Just because someone tells you they love you doesn't mean they know what love is.
Love is complicated. I was in love and my boyfriend broke up with me. It stinks. I know it was love because of how much I dearly care for him to this day.
To answer your question... 13 year olds can fall in love... but it may not really be love. Love is learned through living and at thirteen you haven't really lived. Like I said... It is complicated.

Well, depends on how to define "love". The squeeziness of the heart? Heart beats increasing? Wanting them real badly? Or just enjoy looking at them becuz they're cute? Well, I think you can fall in love at any age. You can fall in love at the age of 90, so why not at the age of 13? Besides, love isn't about age at all...

NO. There isn't enough life experience at the age of 13 to know what "love" is. You might care for someone since you are with them, but I doubt any 13 year old is willing and of sound mind to commit the rest of their life to someone, as true love should be.

Believe in love at 13 because u r 13. Ur friend and her bf cant be in love because they r too young. It's called puppy love. you'll learn about love when Ur older.
