Be nice, be kind,.. that's the root of some Popular people. They are nice and social,.. and in High School they are followed around with the same status as Jocks and Cheerleaders.
You would have to never say anything bad about anyone, never put anyone down, and never talk behind anyones back or gossip.
If you find this is too hard,.. just learn to give up on this Popularity stuff,.. it won't matter when your 16 & up.

First of all...weird is interesting. And emo does not make someone ugly. I am glad that you are confident and are aware of your attractiveness...but you need to realize that popularity means nothing. When you are out of highschool, you will see many of the popular kids doing nothing with their lives.
And you say your eyes "change color." Mine do too. But a little tid bit for you- that is considered WEIRD. So next time you separate yourself from the weird category, think about it. Everyone is weird is some way. It is the beauty of being an individual.
Don't aim to be popular, aim to have true friends.

popularity is a funny thing these days It often means that you follow the crowd. The crowd these days are headed down a WRONG road. Don*t worry about it. Try very very had to walk the narrow road and know that few are on it! Make your mind over to be the best that you can be and don*t concern yourself so much with fashion, but in stead what is appropiate for you as an individual. Most of the fads today a smart person will Not follow.

Popularity isn't everything. But anyways just get high lights in your hair and wear what's in fashion. Also be nice to everyone and join like a sports team or like a club. Get to know people and eventually you'll have more friends and people will get to know you. Don't look down on nerds or emo people, they are people too with feelings. When I was in school the most popular girls were the ones who can control their mouths. Don't speak badly of anyone (Especially to your "BEST FRIENDS") it will come back and bite you in the the rump. Don't be mean to someone trying to fit in. TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED. You are at the age where kids can be really cruel try not to let what anyone says bother. Yes I know it's hard but you've got to try it really isn't the end of the world even if it feels like it. Grades do matter too. Good Luck!

Hahahahahah...oh man. Seriously...you're 12. Yeah like the one guy said, in elementary school (!?!?) or junioe high or whatever, it seriously doesn't even matter. You make better friends in high school. And in 11th and 12th grade, people start to realize that popularity isn't based on clothes and how mean you are. The nice people who are down-to-earth and fun to be with end up being poopular their whole life. I wouldn't go for the whole 'Abercrombie, straighten my hair, velcro Vans, makeup' thing. It's a waste of time and money. But mostly money. Just, yeah, be a kid!!!!!

Popularity does not matter at all. All that matters is that you have a big group of friends that love you for you. And once to high school no one cares.

normally its the people who worry about being popular and view it as something that is a real importance, who are the ones who arent popular. if you just live your life the way you want to live it, most people will respect that and in time you should become popular.

You have to conform to other people. Try out for cheerleading and straighten your hair. Make sure you stay up with the fashions....get popular friends. But I think you will simply be happier if you stay yourself and do what you want to do! ^_^

be yourself!! Try out for sports! when you are popular you have a ton of friends. Be nice to everyone. Open up to people, show them that you are a sweet person. The best thing is to BE YOURSELF!!
