I got a 1320 on my SAT's. is that a good score

the highest score is 2400. The SAT scoring system has now changed. all the answers stating that you did well is a lie if you recently took the SAT score. If you took it 2 years ago, and you did 1320 however, you did exceptionally well!

For almost all the SAT tests, the average score for each individual test is roughly 500. So if you got 1320 for two tests,that would be well above average (around the 80%), but if you got 1320 for the new three part test, that would be well below average (around 40%) . The average (50% level) for the three part test is more like 1550 or something. When the score was reported to you it should have had a little numerical report that told you how you did compared to other students - a percentage value. Check out the report form.

if you are including all three parts that is a really bad score, middle of the road is probaly 200 or 300 points higher assuming your using the 2400 SAT, but if it is out of 1600 or just for just reading and math(only things most colleges look at) then it is exelent. You should also try to take it multipul time because your score will likely improve.

Yeah, that is really good, congratulations. Because of your high score you may be eligible for some scholarships, you should check it out. I was able to get a Presidential Award Scholarship for mine and it gave me a free ride (w/ some other grants). Good job and good luck!

As someone who got 1020 or something like that, yeah, not bad - but what are you going to do with it? Good luck in college.
