My cousin has 11 toes instead of 10, The other day she went to get her toes done ( pedicure).. So I asked her if she had too pay extra for the extra toe.. She gets all upset at me.. I was just curious because I just wanted too know, I was not trying to be sarcastic however, she made a big deal and Now we are not speaking... I totally apologized and she is still upset, oh well forget her...
Do you think that I was wrong? Please let me know!!!!

Obviously she's really sensitive about the extra toe. If it were me, I would have laughed, but some people don't have much of a sense of humor about their flaws. I don't think you were wrong.

maybe she thinks that you are making fun of her because of having an extra toe. you know its like " hey, ha ha did u have to pay extra 4 ur EXTRA TOE? i mean seriously did they ask u?" well that is just dumb. well hope this is the answer u r looking for but if not just keep it real.

So what if she has an extra toe. Doesn't everybody? I do. Two extra fingers, three nipples, four eyes, and double-decker peckers round out my ensemble. And I'm the normal one in the family.
Tell your cousin to lighten the hell up - it could be worse. She could have two heads like my Aunts Annie & Fannie. Take her out & get her really drunk.

Vicki..Vicki girl you are wrong...you need to send a sincere card..you need to verbally apologize (again).tell her you didn't realize that it has caused so much pain. This is very hurtfull. Let me say this.if there is something on your body or something that you are not happy about..please don't let someone point it out because it will hurt you or make you on the defensive...no don't forget her, what you did was wrong..now I agree you probably didn't mean anything by it...Sincerely apologize to her face and give her a hug tell her that you really didn't mean to hurt her. Is it worth it.???

People are usually very sensitive over their physical defects. She can't really help the way she was born and she probably worries about it all the time. You mocking her is just like pouring salt in the wound. Please leave her alone about this issue, and in fact it would probably be very nice of you to take her out for a nice "apology" dinner.

I think it really hurts her. Just give her gifts. & don't mention about her toe anymore. Go visit her for a while. buy her a pizza just to cheer her up. Good luck!
