First, "low-life gangsta rappers" aren't a race of people. You can't be racist against them, but you can be biased.

Second, Oprah IS a Black woman regardless of her intellect or economic status.

Now to get to the question. Oprah has a right to not allow gansta rappers on her show. Gangsta rap music does the complete opposite of what she is trying to promote through her show. I do not think that they are jealous of her, but I do think that they are pissed that there is a powerufl woman denying them another venue to sell their music. (And to add insult to injury, this woman is Black. The same type of female they degrade and treat as inferior.)

Gangsta rapper may think they are a representative of Black America, but the fact is, they aren't and never will be. Any person with sense, Black or not, can see they represent nothing but insecurity, sexism, failed potential, and uneducation. Possibly more, but this is what jumps out at me at the moment.

Oprah doesn't have rappers on her show because white middle class woman don't like rap. Honestly Oprah wouldn't boost any 50 cent CD sales. Besides Oprah is nothing but a pretentious, self righteous sellout. Now fat Oprah that was a show.

Yes and to be honest, I think Im racist against them also. And I dont think they have anything to be jealous of. Dont get me wrong Oprah's great but I just dont think she is too fond of her own race at times. Maybe they dont see her as a ''black'' women because she buys and wears hair of a completley different texture than her own, hair of the ''white race'' lol

It's not racist or discriminatory to reject scum and filth. It is racist to say Oprah isn't black because she has intellect and stature. And who cares what gangsta rappers think - they're trash, they don't count. What a shame that people listen to these dolts.

Is Oprah racist against them? No. Is she prejudice against them? Yes, i think she is.

But at the same time, she paid her dues just like those rappers feel they've paid theirs. So if she doesn't wanna feature the latest rap "sensation" on her show, she doesn't have to.

I wonder why those rappers even care that she doesn't like them.

I wish more people would stand up. Gangsta rappers are certainly doing their part to bring up generations of criminals. Gets worse all the time.

As long as people in the black community and/or others are willing to buy tickets to their concerts and their CD's, etc..... they will be around.

Do they represent Black America? They apparently represent the part of the Black community that listens to them and are willing to spend money on their stuff.

As for Oprah.... she's Black. That doesn't mean she has to buy into the degenerate part of the Black community. She is very intelligent and has figured it out for herself.

Best Wishes,

Sue
