First and foremost I have a 7 foot tree that is decorated with clear lights, red wooden beaded strings, silver and clear ornament balls, and 28 years of memories in decorations, many hand made by my now adult children. I have a rocking horse by the tree that has antlers added to its head each Christmas. I have strings of clear lights around my patio doors. On the fireplace mantle there are six knitted stockings hanging, with antique Santa lights stretching across the mantel....also pine cones on the mantle around candles. A wreath hangs on the front door. Assorted Santa's and snowmen can be found around the house. My dining room has many Victorian decorations, and on the piano you can find a nativity scene that I have had for 25 years. Out side I have a welcome Santa at the front steps, lights along the eves, and a big lighted star on the front of the garage. Needless to say..I love decorating for Christmas, and our friends and family always seem to enjoy our home at this time of year! Merry Christmas!

I have a rural home -- so there are lots of outdoor lights (but of course -- I have a large yard). Then ... inside ... I like to pull out all the ornaments collected over the years (and this includes ornaments that I purchased while at each Military Duty station), and ... most importantly ... I enjoy the porcelain village pieces -- they are LOTS of fun -- then put bean bag snowmen in the setting for whimsy.

A string of colorful lights outside and a tree (fake) inside decorated with white lights and ornaments. I also burn a yankee cnadle (christmas wreath scent) to get past the whole fake tree thing. We have a tradition to pick out a new ornament every year so the tree is pretty full! Also, various kid family members school crafts are hanging about and an interestingly colored paper chain just made...lovely.

Lots! I don't do outside lights, but our tree is in a front window with lights one the tree and around the window edge. We have one windowsill full of mini-snow globes and another full of Russian nesting Santas. The living room has lots of burgundy poinsettias and candles, brass ornaments and all different kinds of nativity scenes (5 or 6 of them), as well as garlands above the windows, and my children's stockings. Other rooms have Santas and snowmen, and my laundry room has Christmas birdhouses.

I don't put up any. My mom died two days before Christmas and I am not inspired to put any.
