e, wouldnt it basically mean that time is a loop?

because the universe would follow the laws, and thus the cycle would repeat itself just like the time before

thoughts?

Except that both entropy and the randomness inherent in quantum mechanics pretty much guarantees that the universe will never be in exactly the same state twice. But even if that did happen, it would then proceed along a different path owing to the randomness.

The universe does follow natural laws, but that does not make it deterministic. And without determinism you can't really have it going in a loop.

An entity can replicate itself over and over without the necessity of time being a loop. I never really bought into those "folding time" or loops or wormhole theories anyway. And you must remember, while it's fun to speculate about, it's pure conjecture amd exists only in the realm of theoretical cosmology. Anyway: replication. If this current universe is just one in a chain of countless universes consisting of a Big Bang, Expansion, Contraction, then Big Crunch, etc. over and over, then it can be done with time being linear, which it is! There are many examples of cycles and replications in today's world: The Water cycle; The method in which plants and flowers spread their seed; Human physical existence (dust to dust--we are created from stardust); The cells in the human body; the oxygen carbon dioxide cycle, etc.

I believe you've seen Star Trek, Dr Who or Groundhog day too many times. Time, like history, probably can and will repeat itself but with differences that may seem minor. This by itself suggests that change is possible. If there is change, then you cannot repeat something exactly as before. Therefore, time is not a loop although it could be an Archimedean spiral.

The rules of nature. technology has reported specific rules that are obvious in nature, which administration it. Gravity as an occasion. If there is ever a case of a regulation likely violated then it is not because of the fact of a few supernatural incidence yet because of the fact another regulation is overriding it. as an occasion you may think of time is continuous yet black holes will distort time.

Absolutely, I have always felt that was a given.
