Do we pronounce it as
1) "Mile"-"Dives" where "Dives" as in Diving
or
2) "Mile"-"Dives" where "Dives" as in Leaves?
or that they are both correct as one is British and the other American way of prounouciation?

some people say deaves and some dives

not a british or american - jsut an individual choice
