Noone got out of Russia in 1940 unless they were part of the crew on T34 tank.

No and especially the Jewish people, some were executed for general principals if they were of no use in government, or science. Others were sent to Syberia, and the rest employed in positions as slaves to work on experiments all for the greater good of Communism so they said.
