I have Yao, and was offered a trade for Michael Redd. my 2 other centers are andris biedrens and brad miller. would you make that trade? in a direct comparison Redd has so much more production where yao provides in points, boards, and a some blocks. redd gets 3's, points, steals, and decent in assists and rebounds. what to do?

depends. you have to look at your stats first. where are you in the standing. if you are in a need for 3 pts, and dont mind of getting lesser boards, i think you should go pick redd. since you can have block from biendrens.
here are something that you might consider:
both are not a good passer,
yao has better FG
the bucks are relying to much on redd, so the chance of him getting injured is more likely than yao (since houston have tmac where they can depend on).
brad miller is not a good rebounder/shot blocker

I would take Redd if it's head to head League. Yao is still to inconsistent.

No don't take it. Yao ming rebounds mo0re than redd will ever. and he makes a lot of shots.

It all depends how you been winning or doing...for example, if you have Ray Allen, or other of that sort, then Redd won't help you much...you jsut be fattening the same stats you are doing well on already...and losing on stats you might need help on.

if its a roto league then i wouldn't do it
if its a h2h league id definitely take redd
