I'm 58. The 50s and 60s, even the 70s, but especially the 50s. I remember when they used to have hit songs. There is so much music published these days that nothing ever predominates.

1970s = Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Bob Marley & the Wailers.
1980s (first half) = The Police, Elvis Costello & the Attractions,

Not giving my age , i have picked and pulled some of the best hard rock / metal from the 70s and all the way up to at least 95'.

I'm 40. I'd say the "big hair" bands. Def Leppard, Journey, Quiet Riot, Poison, those kind....Ahhhh, those were the days!
