Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Awesome game. It's really action-y.

Super Smash Bros. Melee is spectacular, however the best of all time is Super Street Fighter. It had a perfect fighting system, good range of characters and moves. The game had virtually no flaws. It's great.
