I'd choose North Carolina. The natives are friendlier, mountains are breath-taking, there's more diversity in the geography, and the job market isn't dead! Kentucky is dirtier, meaner, and more boring.

Tho I am sure that Kentucky is a beautiful state, I must say I prefer my home state North Carolina. I love the mountains as well as the coast. I live near Charlotte myself and there are so many things to do and see there as well. I may be a bit on the prejudiced side but to me "nothing could be finer to be in North Carolina in the morrrrrning"!

Kentucky of course. I'm 23 yrs old and I would live here the rest of my life. Everyone has a misconception about Ky, (mostly people who have never been here). We do wear shoes, yes, I have all my teeth (in fact I have a beautiful smile). Ky is so beautiful. We have huge mountains and so many scenic areas. and for people my age theres great clubs in the larger cities. Its a great place to raise a family and we have some of the best schools. And I dont know what the other person before was talking about, but the people here are so friendly, we welcome everyone. The people I met in NC werent half as great as us...
