Astology does work, or more correctly- it CAN work, but it is far more complex than even most professional atrologers can imagine or want to admit. One thing that is a fact though is that the compatibility of individuals is no way relegated merely to their fundamental star sign. That level of astrology, the level that is in the little column of the daily paper, is a load of tripe. The statistics more than adequately proove this although if you chose to believe it it will certainly be true. How can it not be when you already find fault in someone merely by their birth date?

A basic knowledge of astronomy makes it clear that the parameters upon which astrology is based means that even our criteria for determining zodiacal signs is very flawed. In ancient times it was an entire (very complex) field of science unto itself but we content ourselves with a most rudimentary and disfunctional version of that. In fact there should be more than double the number of starsigns that we have and all with significantly varying lengths of time.

Well according to Zodiac me and my husband (a Virgo, and Aquarius) are not compatible AT ALL, but we are more in love then ever. So I don't really believe you can tell compatibility by zodiac it is what is in your soul that matters.
