It aired in 1985 starring Patrick Swayze and told the story of two friends one a Yankee and the other a Southerner who were both on different sides of the Civil War.
The music score was just beautiful, passionate & sweeping.
I remember being a teenager then and just wanting to learn about that era of America's history after watching that mini-series.

Rich Man, Poor Man. Can't remember any more that I actually watched. Unless, of course Pride and Prejudice. If that was a mini series then that is No 1. Brilliant!

Band of brothers ,exelent in every respect,hitoricaly accurate,gripping story & very moving,a timeless story of young men thrown into conflict & fighting & looking out for each other,No John Wayne rubbish here !
