No--I don't think she would have--in fact, I'm pretty sure of it. Even if she and Charles were divorced, Diana was the mother of the future King of England, and she would have remained Anglican.

In my personal convictions, Diana probably would not have converted to Islam despite the fact that Doydi al-Fayed (please forgive my misspelling) might have been a Muslim. In Islam, a man can marry outside of the faith. A Muslim woman, on the other hand, are required to marry a Muslim man. Diana's family, along with her ex in-laws, were all members of the Church of England. According to a major law that was passed before the House of Hanover ruled in the eighteenth century, all heirs to the British throne are required to be members of the Church of England. Diana's conversion, despite not being an heir, would indirectly cause her sons William and Harry some problems when it comes to time for accession. I personally don't think Diana would cause her sons these problems so a conversion to Islam (with the utmost respect) is out of the question for her.

No if she doesnt get married to him. I beg to differ from the last comment. If you are a muslim YOU CAN NOT MARRY ANOTHER PERSON WHO IS OUTSIDE OF ISLAM. She or he must convert to islam. Thats why there is alot of critism abt this. Ppl are often misjudge islam for this looking it as something negative. My advice is, if you cant convert then dont bother getting married. Dont have to critisize the religion. Its not the religion at fault, its the people.
