it sounds ignorant.
yes, I can see where a Spanish-speaking person would feel that they were being mocked if someone were talking like that around them.
I can totally understand that.
a 15-year old should know better....
especially if he's taking a Spanish class.

I'd be offended because it's not "real" Spanglish. He needs to respect the language, for one, and to start hanging out with some native speakers, for another. Aren't there any Puerto Ricans or Chicanos where you are?

i'm not spanish and if i was, it wouldn't... i do it all the time... i've got the texmex thing going on...i grew up with a lot of spanish speakers... i don't think it's a big deal...
