has anyone ever heard that rumor that Deniro and Pacino never actually acted together on the scenes of HEAT?

If so, can anyone confirm or deny that rumor?

That's not true. What is true is that the scenes they were in....were the first time they've ever been on the screen at the same time in the same movie.

I've heard it, but looking back the two are never really in the same shot together so it could be true.. but it could also be completely fictitious. I'll say plausible but not likely.
