halo 3 isn't out yet

the trailer looks great. with the 360 coming along the way it has...(play GEARS OF WAR to understand) then Halo 3 is going to look great. Halo has always been a great game but I think Gears surpasses it so i cant wait for this one to finally get here. hopefully its a little longer than 2 though since it was kind of short.

I'm not sure if I've played that one, I think I have but I know I've played the first two and I loved them!
Is Halo 3 the one with "the flood" or is that halo 2?
